Meditation, amongst other things, allows us to remember and reconnect to our natural state of ease and well-being. From this state, life flows freely and joyously.
Through the use of different techniques involving the breath, the body, imagination and sound, the practice will allow a deepening familiarity with this space. As we go along practicing daily life is infused with creativity, emotional resilience and overall a sense of renowned purpose and vitality.
INVITE TO MEDITATION
A month long course of 5 introductory one-hour lessons to the practice of meditation. Each exploring a different avenue of calling forth the meditative state:
1.the body 2.the breath 3.the emotions 4.awareness 5.the heart.
Gradually during the cycle you will learn, through guided sessions, a number of simple meditative techniques and how to structure a self-practice that will allow you to bring meditation into your daily routine.
Following the introductory course one may wish to proceed by joining a weekly group.
Each participant will be able to go deep, explore and enliven one’s own practice, giving it more strength and stability, while enjoying the unique meditative space and flavor that the group will develop session after session.
Lessons follow a seasonal schedule and are usually divided into two cycles (September through December and January through June).
Meditative practice can be used to address individual concerns, look for solution to everyday questions or address more deep existential dilemmas, ignite creative empowerment or foster personal healing.
Through the power of intention and attention we will access a space of impersonal presence and infinite potential and let that be the place from where to gain inspiration and new perspectives.
Each session lasts around 1 hour, and can be scheduled both on and offline.
